About Pepi McNair

Pepi McNair’s art journey began in childhood and continued with studies at NC State University and The Ringling School of Art. After moving to Hilton Head Island in 1979, she opened BesType, a typesetting and graphic design studio. Over the past few years she has had the opportunity  to take workshops and study with many talented instructors.

Pepi paints in oil, pastel, and watercolor. Her favorite art passion is meeting up regularly with friends for a day of plein air painting. When traveling, she packs her sketchbook and painting kit  to capture the essence of a new place.  It is challenging and fun!
