About Alysia Brazin

I have been making ceramic art for over 40 years and continue to find joy in watching my work evolve.

I have studied ceramics in the Boston area and was lucky to be a part of the ceramic program at Harvard university. I currently live on Hilton Head island and find the inspiration from the local beauty.
One of the greatest rewards for me in creating a piece of pottery is in imagining that the work will someday have a place in someone’s daily life. With this in mind, I strive to make each piece both comfortably functional and aesthetically pleasing.

I work primarily with porcelain clay, which is high fired, and both microwave and dishwasher safe.
